Comments:- Recording of a performance at the MET. There were performance with the cast listed above on 12 and 15 April 1968 and on 20 April the cast was the same except that Ulrica was sung by Jean Madiera. The excerpts issued by Gala are a «filler» on the CDs of the recording of Der fliegende Holländer. Presumably the recording was made at one of the dates just mentioned, but I do not know which. As none of these performances was broadcast the recording must have been made «in-house».
