American Record Guide - Vol.35 No.7 March 1969 p.566 [JWB]

Comments:- The LP issued by ERATO and reissued by MHS has excerpts from Isis on one side and from Armide on the other. The following singers are listed as taking part: Nadine Sautereau, Jocelyne Chamonin, André Mallabrera, Roger Soyer. However, from the information available to me, it is not clear if they all take part in both sets of excerpts. The following excerpts from Isis are performed: Prologue, Duet of Nymphs; Shivering Chorus; Rondeau; Io's Plaint; Act 3 scenes. The CD also includes a recording of Caprice de Villers-Cotterêts by Lalande.
