Compact Disc - Omega Opera Archive 2120;*Gala GL 100.543 (highlights) (+excerpts from other operas with Inge Borkh) {2CDS}
------------------------------------------------------------------
Comments:- This recording appears to be of a performance in the Grand Théâtre de Genève on 31 October 1968 which was broadcast by Radio Suisse Romande (see Journal de Genève for that day). There is a review in the Journal de Geneve for 2-3 November 1968. The date given by Omega is 10 November 1968, but there was not a performance on that day. See also OPERA January 1969 pp.66-68. The recording issued by the Omega Opera Archive is listed in their online catalogue (see CLORLINK.HTM). Gala incorrectly assigns the performance to Naples. Their CD contains the following excerpts: Entrée de Lady Macbeth: Et puis...elles disparurent...O vous, ministres du meurtre; Duo Macbeth & Lady Macbeth: Ah! Si la chose une fois faite (total time just under 20 minutes). I thank Stanley Henig for providing me with information which enabled me to correct errors in an earlier version of this entry.
