Comments:- *According to Marc Shepherd (G&S Discography - click link below) «it appears that the three stars (Green, James Pease, and Karl Brock) recorded their parts in either England or America, while the orchestra, chorus, and remaining principals recorded their parts in Germany». The recording was reissued in 1965 on the «Society» label, but with a new overture and a different conductor (Nigel Lucas) and orchestra (The London Savoyard) credited.
