Comments:- The singer of Pizzaro is given as Richard Misske in the «EJS Discography» p.265,but I have been unables to find any further information about a singer of this name. According to Kutsch-Riemanns (Dritte erweiterte Auflage, Band 3 p.2389) Gerhard Misske was a member of the ensemble of the Stadttheater, Augsburg and Pizzaro was in his repertoire. Also, Gerhard Misske is stated to sing this role by Preiser.
